Delivering Network Function Virtualisation with Scalable and Global Infrastructure

Cirrus Core Networks is using Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) to deliver a NFV-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for the delivery of next-generation mobile services.

It is enabling Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and other service providers to rapidly deploy next-generation mobile services around the world with a fully managed service model. This drives efficiency and enables even the smallest operators to deploy services and build a user base. It also enables machine-to-machine communications (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to scale efficiently from a few devices to a few million.

Cirrus Core Networks is working with Epsilon to support global deployments and enable it to deploy its services in secure environments with high performance and high availability connectivity. Together they are enabling MNOs and MVNOs to deploy nextgeneration mobile services like Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) and all kinds of M2M applications. Cirrus Core Networks is hosting its platform in Epsilon’s colocation facilities and connecting them to customers using Epsilon’s Cloud Link Exchange (CloudLX) platform and the Epsilon Intelligent Networking Exchange (eINX). Epsilon combines global reach with guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) and Experience (QoE) to support the growth of innovative NFV business models around the world.
